Job summary

FNRCO is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily facilities maintenance, ensuring reliable operation of building services. You will supervise technicians, allocate tasks, and drive preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.

The role requires a Technical Diploma in a mechanical/electrical/HVAC field and 5–8 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, with prior supervisory experience in commercial or residential settings. A strong focus on safety and reporting is essential.

• Respond to urgent breakdowns and coordinate the required corrective actions.
• Monitor the quality of maintenance work and identify practical solutions to improve equipment reliability and reduce costs.

Job description

To supervise and manage the day-to-day maintenance activities of facilities and ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and availability of all building services and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance activities and allocate tasks to technicians and maintenance workers.
• Manage preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of:
• HVAC and air-conditioning systems
• Electrical systems
• Plumbing and water systems
• Pumps and related equipment
• Building and general facilities
• Follow up on maintenance requests and ensure timely completion.
• Inspect facilities regularly and identify technical problems and maintenance requirements.
• Supervise technicians and monitor their performance, attendance, and productivity.
• Coordinate with external maintenance contractors and service providers when required.
• Follow up on maintenance materials, spare parts, tools, and equipment requirements.
• Maintain maintenance records and prepare regular reports on completed and pending works.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
• Respond to urgent breakdowns and coordinate the required corrective actions.
• Monitor the quality of maintenance work and ensure proper completion.
• Identify recurring problems and recommend practical solutions to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical Diploma / Vocational Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of practical experience in facilities maintenance.
• Previous experience in a maintenance supervisory or management role is required.
• Strong hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Experience supervising multi-skilled technicians and maintenance workers.
• Experience in residential compounds, hotels, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, or similar environments is preferred.
