Job summary

Kcal World is seeking a Cost & Inventory Controller in Saudi Arabia to manage cost control processes, including COGS, inventory, and warehouse management. The role emphasizes accuracy, data analysis, and adherence to HACCP standards.

You will drive menu engineering, maintain BOMs in the ERP, and collaborate with Procurement and Production to optimize stock, prevent waste, and ensure timely reporting. Immediate joining is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant/Cost Accountant with 4+ years in cost control.
• At least 2 years in cost control in F&B, central kitchen preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and BOM management.
• Proficient in MS Excel; English fluency required; Hindi is an advantage.
• Knowledge of HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform menu engineering based on requirements.
• Prepare and validate monthly COGS for all divisions.
• Maintain and update menu items with BOM in ERP.
• Investigate variances and implement corrective actions.
• Record daily inventory receipts, returns, and invoices.
• Coordinate with Procurement to optimize inventory levels.
• Establish controls to safeguard inventory and prevent theft.
• Ensure scales are calibrated regularly.
• Maintain cost levels for food, beverage, packaging, and general inventory.
• Minimize wastage via ordering and production controls.
• Ensure standard recipes followed by Central Kitchen and Outlets.
• Validate yield rates through regular yield testing.
• Lead monthly/annual stock counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare slow-moving stock reports with relevant departments.
• Conduct outlet audits per Finance's plan.
• Prepare ad hoc reports for departments.
• Maintain master data for inventory and menu items in ERP.
• Coordinate with IT for reports and system developments.
• Assist the finance team with reports and analysis.
• Maintain confidentiality at all levels.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties.
