Job summary

An experienced Export Logistics Manager is needed at a manufacturing facility in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role reports to the Supply Chain Manager and oversees the complete export process, ensuring compliance with Saudi customs and efficient shipping operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating with production, freight forwarders, and ports; negotiating rates and SLAs; maintaining documentation; tracking KPIs; and resolving delays to safeguard on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in logistics and shipping management within a manufacturing environment (preferably in Jeddah).
• In-depth knowledge of full-cycle export procedures and Saudi government export documentation.
• Must be currently residing in Saudi Arabia with transferable work authorization.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.

• Direct and manage the full-cycle export operation from factory floor dispatch to international port of arrival.
• Oversee governmental documentation and legal compliance required by Saudi customs and regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate daily shipping schedules with manufacturing production teams to ensure smooth outbound material flow.
• Negotiate competitive shipping rates, carrier contracts and SLAs for ocean, air, and land freight channels.
• Monitor shipping lead times, container bookings, availability and vessel schedules to maintain on-time delivery targets.
• Track KPIs including demurrage fees, freight costs, document accuracy and transit times.
• Resolve export delays, documentation holds and logistics bottlenecks swiftly to minimize downtime.

Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, the ideal candidate will manage the complete full-cycle export process, oversee shipping operations, maintain compliance with Saudi government documentation and customs, and streamline end-to-end logistics workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Export & Customs Management

Direct and execute the complete full-cycle export operation from factory floor dispatch to international port of arrival

Manage all governmental documentation and legal compliance required by Saudi customs ports and regulatory bodies e.g. Certificates of Origin Bills of Lading Customs Declarations Chamber of Commerce attestation

Oversee relationships with customs clearance agents freight forwarders and shipping lines particularly across Jeddah ports and logistics hubs

Manufacturing Logistics & Shipping Operations

Coordinate daily shipping schedules with manufacturing production teams to ensure smooth outbound material flow

Negotiate competitive shipping rates carrier contracts and SLAs for ocean land and air freight channels

Monitor shipping lead times container booking availability and vessel schedules to maintain on-time delivery targets

Operational Excellence & Compliance

Track key performance indicators KPIs including demurrage fees freight costs document accuracy and transit times

Resolve export delays documentation holds and logistics bottlenecks swiftly to minimize operational downtime

Candidate Qualifications & Skill Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or equivalent.

Experience: 10+ Years with proven track record in logistics and shipping management within a manufacturing environment, ideally based in or familiar with Jeddah.

Export Expertise: In-depth, practical knowledge of full-cycle export procedures and Saudi government export documentation.

Location/Sourcing: Must be currently residing in Saudi Arabia with valid transferable work authorization.

Languages: Professional fluency in written and spoken English is strictly required.
