Job summary

The Islamic Development Bank is seeking a seasoned executive to support the Vice-President of Finance & CFO in Jeddah. The role involves strategic planning, policy development, and coordination with internal units and external partners to advance the Bank's financial objectives.

The candidate will provide high-level technical guidance across financial control, treasury, liquidity management, investments and policy areas, while ensuring timely communication and effective engagement with boards,

Qualifications

Master's degree in economics or business administration or finance or investments or related discipline.
CFA qualification would be preferred.
12 years of prior relevant experience in a similar role in Multilateral Development Banks or similar international organizations, banks and financial regulatory authorities.
Languages: English mandatory | Arabic optional | French optional.

Responsibilities

Lead in development, implementation and monitoring of Annual Work Plans and KPIs for the Office of the Vice-President Finance & CFO.
Provide professional and technical advice to the Vice-President on matters related to Finance & CFO Complex.
Review briefing materials, correspondence and incoming communications to ensure the Vice-President is adequately briefed.
Advise on improving business efficiency, responsiveness and quality within the Finance & CFO Complex.
Coordinate with internal units and external stakeholders to plan and follow up on actions.
