Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2 years experience in housekeeping or related area.
• 2-year degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major; no work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates daily Housekeeping shift operations and ensures compliance with policies, standards and procedures.
• Inspects guestrooms and public spaces, verifies room status, and assigns tasks to staff.
• Manages staffing levels, tracks attendance, and coordinates with Front Desk for occupancy and guest needs.
• Supports budget goals by monitoring supplies and expenses, and communicating department goals in meetings.
• Provides training for new room attendants and maintains open communication with employees.
