ConFlip is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead the kitchen at a top hotel in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. You will oversee kitchen operations, menu development, and a diverse team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences for guests.

This contract role requires strong English communication, budgeting, inventory control, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Visa sponsorship is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
• Proven track record of managing a diverse team and delivering high-quality food consistently.
• In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to effectively train and mentor staff from different backgrounds.
• Familiarity with budgeting, inventory management, cost control, and financial analysis.
• Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Valid work permit or visa sponsorship eligibility for Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Plan and create menus, ensuring that they meet the highest quality standards and cater to different dietary requirements
• Manage food inventory and ordering, ensuring availability of fresh ingredients and minimizing wastage
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient and consistent food preparation techniques
• Maintain high levels of hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen, following all health codes and regulations
• Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and promotions to attract more customers
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis for the kitchen department
