Job summary

We are seeking an Executive Chef for our Indian Restaurant in Jizan. You will lead the kitchen, design menus that showcase authentic Indian flavors, and ensure exceptional quality and presentation.

Responsibilities include menu development, training staff, controlling portions and costs, ordering ingredients, and maintaining a clean, compliant kitchen while coordinating with management on budgets and events.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience as an Executive Chef in an Indian restaurant.
• Must be of Indian nationality with a passion for Indian cuisine.

Responsibilities

• Create new menu items showcasing traditional Indian flavors and current food trends.
• Develop recipes that are delicious and cost-effective.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, portion control, and presentation.
• Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including ordering ingredients, inventory, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Monitor food quality to ensure consistency and make adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with management on budget planning, menu changes, and special events.
• Ensure compliance with all health codes and safety regulations.
