Job summary

Soundlines Consultancy in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced mobile equipment electrical technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems of mobile equipment and vehicles. You will diagnose, read drawings, and maintain records while complying with safety rules.

PORT/TERMINAL experience is mandatory, and candidates must be willing to be deployed across sites in the Kingdom.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of relevant experience as a mobile equipment electrical technician or related role.
• Port/terminal experience is mandatory.
• Good English communication skills are mandatory.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance of mobile equipment and vehicles.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and service electrical and control systems.
• Maintain electrical systems of heavy and light mobile equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Identify electrical components, spare parts, tools, and measuring instruments.
• Execute maintenance activities according to planned maintenance schedules.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Identify technical problems and report them to the supervisor/foreman/manager.
• Follow all company, port, and HSE safety rules and procedures.
• Maintain tools and working areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor/foreman/manager.
• Be willing to work at any location in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as per company requirements.
• Candidates may be deployed anywhere in Saudi Arabia according to company requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3-4 years of relevant experience as a mobile equipment electrical technician / automotive electrical technician / heavy equipment electrician.
• PORT / TERMINAL EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY.
• Strong hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance of mobile/heavy equipment.
• Good knowledge of automotive electrical and control systems.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and technical manuals.
• Good English communication skills are mandatory.
• Willingness to work in roster/shift duties.
• Must be physically fit and strong to work in a field/port environment.
• Must have good moral character and a professional attitude.
• Candidates must be disciplined, responsible, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
• Aggressive or undisciplined candidates will not be considered.
• Must be flexible to work under different sites and weather conditions.
• Willing to perform duties as assigned by supervisors/foremen/managers.
• Candidates may be deployed anywhere in Saudi Arabia according to company requirements.
