Job summary

Hilton in Saudi Arabia is seeking a dynamic Chief Engineer to lead and maintain our property's building systems, ensuring guest comfort and safety. You will supervise a multi-discipline team, manage daily maintenance operations, and oversee capital projects while upholding Hilton's standards of hospitality and reliability.

You will partner with hotel leadership to drive energy efficiency, compliance, and service excellence, delivering memorable experiences for every guest.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a maintenance team and supervising multi-discipline engineers.
• Knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical.
• Experience managing safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team: recruit, train, supervise, and mentor; conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure safety and compliance: oversee building, mechanical and life-safety systems; coordinate inspections.
• Manage daily maintenance operations: supervise tasks, prioritise work, monitor requests and emergencies.
• Support property improvement projects: direct capital projects, scheduling, budgeting, licensing/permits.
• Lead energy efficiency initiatives: develop and implement energy conservation programs.
• Drive engineering performance: monitor KPIs, equipment upkeep and team productivity.
• Support hotel-wide leadership: coordinate safety procedures and duty manager coverage.
