The QS Engineer is responsible for quantity take-off, measurement, cost estimation, payment certification, and commercial documentation for construction projects. The role requires accuracy, drawing interpretation capability, and strong commercial awareness
Functional Responsibilities
Quantity Take-Off & Measurement
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs from engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQ documents.
- Measure executed works for interim payment applications, subcontractor evaluations, and commercial reporting.
- Maintain organized measurement records and ensure quantities are traceable and auditable.
- Support tender preparation, cost estimation, pricing inputs, and commercial comparisons.
- Review technical and commercial documents to identify measurement gaps, scope risks, and pricing assumptions.
- Support contract administration through BOQ analysis, variation measurement, and billing documentation.
- Prepare and review payment certification documents and support billing procedures.
- Coordinate with site, planning, cost control, and finance teams to validate progress quantities and payment status.
- Assist in evaluating variation orders and claims from a quantity and measurement perspective.

- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
Qualification
Bachelor in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering
