Job summary

alfanar Building Systems is seeking a QS Engineer to handle quantity take-offs, measurements, and cost estimation for construction projects. You will prepare payment certifications and assist with commercial documentation, while maintaining accurate, auditable records.

The role requires strong drawing interpretation and commercial awareness, with coordination across site, planning, cost control, and finance teams to validate quantities and payment status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering is required.
• Strong ability to perform quantity take-offs from drawings and BOQ documents.
• Experience with interim payments, subcontractor evaluations and commercial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-off and measurement from drawings, specifications and BOQ.
• Measure executed works for interim payments and subcontractor evaluations.
• Maintain organized measurement records that are auditable.
• Support tender cost estimation, pricing inputs and commercial comparisons.
• Review technical and commercial documents to identify gaps and pricing assumptions.
• Coordinate with site, planning, cost control, and finance for progress quantities and payments.
