Job summary

KAUST End User Computing Analyst role provides expert support for faculty, staff, and departments. You will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and end-user computing issues to ensure reliable operation of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.

The role includes installing and maintaining PCs, managing assets and licenses, and delivering training. You will mentor junior staff, lead small projects, and collaborate with Help Desk to ensure timely service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Certifications in Windows and macOS support tools or IT service management preferred.
• ACSA or equivalent professional certification.
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues across university-supported devices.
• Install, configure, and maintain personal computers and related equipment.
• Maintain and track IT assets, including licenses and disposal.
• Provide on-site and remote end-user support with timely resolutions.
• Lead small technical projects and mentor junior staff.
