Overview

IT Support Administrator
The Role: The Desktop computer Assistance Administrator role is to provide a single point of contact for end users to obtain support and maintenance within the organization's desktop computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and updating all hardware and related devices (including but not limited to laptops, iPhones, printers, and scanners) to ensure optimal user experience and accessibility.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor, operate, manage, repair and recover IT support for any user with authorized access to the company network.
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot printers, computers, mobile devices, and other licensed external equipment.
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016/2019 and other sanctioned desktop applications.
  • Monitor and respond to inbound service and support requests according to published service level agreements.
  • Escalate issues and involve specialists as needed to resolve problems.
  • Manage email account administration, account creation, and group subscriptions.
  • Manage asset inventory and ordering, register additional stock.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the local market regarding agreements, hardware and licenses (essential).
  • Desktop support experience in an international Windows 10 environment.
  • Solid understanding of IT fundamentals, Microsoft SCCM build technologies, Active Directory and Windows Server 2016/2019, TCP/IP, and basic networking concepts.
  • Experience with ActiveSync mobile technologies/MDM (e.g., MobileIron).
  • Experience in large, multicultural organizations.
  • Customer-oriented, proactive personality.
  • Languages: Arabic (native), English (fluent).
  • Native resident status in KSA (preferred due to local labor laws).
