Job summary

Cloud Consultancy - CCDS seeks an Encryption Operations & Support Engineer to provide day-to-day operational and technical support for enterprise encryption and security infrastructure. You will monitor platforms, troubleshoot incidents, coordinate patches, and maintain runbooks to ensure reliability.

The role requires a bachelor’s in IT/CS/Cybersecurity or related field and 4+ years in IT/security operations, with ITIL or security certifications preferred. Onsite work in Dammam is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in IT operations, security operations, technical support, or cybersecurity infrastructure.
• Experience supporting enterprise security technologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily health checks and operational monitoring of encryption and security platforms.
• Handle service requests and incidents related to encryption, KMS, HSM, and associated infrastructure.
• Perform first-level troubleshooting and coordinate escalation of complex technical issues.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Coordinate patching, upgrades, fixes, and vendor maintenance activities.
• Monitor software licenses, subscriptions, assets, and support contracts.
• Maintain configuration records, inventories, technical documentation, and operational runbooks.
• Support technical testing, validation, and system changes.
• Participate in backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.
• Support knowledge-transfer sessions and maintain operational procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal technical teams to resolve incidents and service issues.
• Prepare operational and maintenance reports.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance windows and on-call support when required.

About The Role

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in IT operations, security operations, technical support, or cybersecurity infrastructure
• Experience supporting enterprise security technologies is preferred
• Knowledge of incident management, service management, troubleshooting, documentation, and change management
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Dammam

Required Certification

One of the following:

• ITIL 4 Foundation, or
• CompTIA Security+

Preferred Certifications & Training

• Thales CipherTrust / Luna administration training
• Vendor-specific encryption/HSM administration certification
• Additional ITSM, security operations, or infrastructure certification
• Relevant Microsoft, Linux, or enterprise infrastructure certification
