Job summary

CCDS in Dammam seeks an experienced Senior Encryption / Onsite Technical Lead to direct encryption, KMS, and HSM activities for a major enterprise cybersecurity project.

The successful candidate will coordinate implementation activities with entity teams, OEMs, project stakeholders, and technical specialists, ensuring quality, documentation, testing, and operational readiness while escalating technical issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity, encryption, key management, HSM, information security, or related technical environments.
• Experience leading enterprise security technology implementations.
• Strong understanding of encryption, KMS, HSM, PKI, cryptographic key lifecycle management, and security operations.
• Experience coordinating multiple technical teams and working with enterprise/government stakeholders.
• Strong documentation, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: experience in Saudi government, regulated, or critical infrastructure environments.
• Willing to work full-time onsite in Dammam.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite implementation and operational activities related to encryption, KMS, HSM, and cryptographic security solutions.
• Coordinate technical activities between project team, stakeholders, OEMs, and infrastructure teams.
• Review and approve technical changes, configurations, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
• Supervise encryption, key management, and HSM-related activities.
• Ensure compliance with technical designs, security requirements, and project standards.
• Lead technical testing, integration validation, acceptance activities, and remediation of findings.
• Maintain and update HLD/LLD, runbooks, test cases, and operational docs.
• Monitor progress and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate with database, network, infrastructure, security, SOC, and application teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers.
• Support knowledge transfer and transition to BAU operations.
• Participate in governance and status review meetings.
• Assist incident investigations and complex troubleshooting.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Encryption / Onsite Technical Lead to lead the technical execution and day-to‑day coordination of encryption, Key Management System (KMS), and Hardware Security Module (HSM) activities for a major enterprise cybersecurity project in Dammam.

The successful candidate will act as the primary onsite technical lead, coordinating implementation activities with the entity teams, OEMs, project stakeholders, and technical specialists while ensuring quality, documentation, testing, operational readiness, and timely escalation of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead onsite implementation and operational activities related to encryption, KMS, HSM, and cryptographic security solutions.
• Coordinate technical activities between the project team, and stakeholders, OEMs, and relevant infrastructure teams.
• Review and approve technical changes, configurations, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
• Supervise encryption, key management, and HSM-related activities.
• Ensure compliance with approved technical designs, security requirements, and project standards.
• Lead technical testing, integration validation, acceptance activities, and remediation of findings.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity, encryption, key management, HSM, information security, or related technical environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise security technology implementations.
• Strong understanding of encryption, KMS, HSM, PKI, cryptographic key lifecycle management, and security operations.
• Experience coordinating multiple technical teams and working directly with enterprise/government stakeholders.
• Strong documentation, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience in Saudi government, regulated, or critical infrastructure environments is highly preferred.
• Must be willing to work full-time onsite in Dammam.

Required Certification

• CISSP or CISM.

Preferred Certifications & Training

• ITIL 4 Foundation.
• Thales CipherTrust / Luna technical training or certification.
• Relevant HSM, encryption, PKI, or security architecture certification.
• Other recognized cybersecurity professional certifications.
