Power International Holding (PIH) is seeking an Employee Relations Officer in Saudi Arabia to foster positive employee relations, enforce policies, handle grievances, and support HR services across onboarding, offboarding, leave approvals, and documentation. You will promote compliant people practices and advise management on employment laws.

The role requires strong labor-law knowledge, excellent communication, and SAP ERP proficiency, with GCC experience considered a plus.

  • ERP knowledge with SAP functional skills is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute ideas for smoother, more efficient day-to-day operations.

  • Provide adequate support to employees on all queries.
  • Prepare employee files and ensure lifecycle documents are filed.
  • Keep up to date with policy changes.
  • Administer HR services precisely and timely; ensure high-quality transactions.
  • Execute onboarding, offboarding, leaves, ticketing, medical insurance, reimbursements, updates, and letters; respond to ASK HR queries.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE and QM policies, procedures, and controls across the department.
  • Support the implementation of HSE initiatives and incident reporting per IMS policies.

The Employee Relations Officer facilitates positive relationships between employees and the organization, ensuring a productive and harmonious work environment. They are responsible for implementing and enforcing employee policies and procedures, addressing grievances and conflicts, and promoting employee engagement and morale. Additionally, Employee Relations Officers play a key role in providing guidance and support to both employees and management on matters related to employment laws, regulations, and Company policies. They also participate in the development and implementation of programs and initiatives aimed at improving employee satisfaction and retention.

Job Responsibilities 1

Promote customer-centric services, fair and transparent people practices.

Contribute with ideas for a smoother and efficient day-to-day operation.

Comply with our Attendance protocols.

Ensure adequate support is provided to the employees on all their queries.

Prepare employee files and ensure all employee related documents throughout their lifecycle are filed.

Keep up to date with policy changes.

Administers the HR Services in a precise and timely manner; and ensures a high-quality standard is applied to all transactions.

Execute transactions related to Onboarding, Offboarding, Leave approvals, Ticketing, Medical insurance, Reimbursements, Personal information updates, Generate business letters, Respond to ASK HR queries

Ensure compliance with all relevant HSEandE and QM policies, procedures, and controls across the department to guarantee self and Team safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality service standards and a responsible environmental attitude

Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies

Job Knowledge & Skills

Proficient knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices in employee relations is essential for navigating complex employment issues and ensuring compliance.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effectively mediating conflicts, conducting investigations, and providing guidance to employees and managers.

Analytical skills are valuable for assessing employee feedback, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations for improving employee relations.

Empathy and emotional intelligence are important qualities for understanding the needs and concerns of employees and building trust and rapport.

Experience in conflict resolution, negotiation, and mediation enhances the ability to address and resolve employee grievances and disputes in a fair and equitable manner.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
