Job summary

MBRF Global Foods Company S.A. is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive, corrective and scheduled maintenance on electrical and control systems at the Jeddah facility.

You will troubleshoot equipment, including motors and automation systems, and work with production teams to ensure uptime and safety. Minimum 2-year diploma in Electrical Technology with 2–3 years hands-on experience in a food/fmcg environment is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year Diploma in Electrical Technology or related field.
• 2–3 years hands-on electrical and control maintenance in FMCG/food industry.
• Read electrical drawings, P&IDs and diagrams; knowledge of electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and scheduled maintenance on electrical/control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control equipment, including power/control circuits, motors, automation systems.
• Respond to electrical breakdowns, identify root causes and minimize downtime.
• Record equipment issues and maintenance activities in SAP; coordinate with teams.
• Support improvements using RCA and contribute to long-term solutions.

What will you be doing at MBRF?

• Perform preventive, corrective and scheduled maintenance to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of electrical and control systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control equipment, including power and control circuits, motors, automation systems and related production equipment
• Respond to electrical breakdowns, identify root causes and take actions to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance
• Inspect equipment, identify maintenance needs and support overhaul, preventive maintenance and spare-part planning
• Record equipment issues, maintenance activities and work orders accurately in SAP
• Work closely with Production, Maintenance, suppliers and OEMs on technical issues, repairs and continuous improvement activities
• Support improvement initiatives using tools such as RCA and contribute to solutions for recurring technical issues
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with HSE, food safety, HACCP, GMP, 5S, Food Defense and company safety standards

What kind of profile are we looking for?

• Minimum 2-year Diploma in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in electrical and control maintenance, preferably within the Food/FMCG industry
• Strong knowledge of electrical controls, power and control circuits, motors and automation systems, with hands‑on troubleshooting experience
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and engineering drawings, P&IDs and relevant technical diagrams, with knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards
• Knowledge of HV/LV systems, food manufacturing and food safety practices; familiarity with SAP, MS Office, RCA, PDCA and 5S
• Based in Jeddah or willing to relocate to Jeddah, with flexibility to commute to the factory location
