Job summary

MBRF is seeking a qualified maintenance technician to perform preventive, corrective and scheduled maintenance on mechanical equipment at our Jeddah facility, ensuring safe, reliable operation. You will work closely with Production and Maintenance teams, and partner with suppliers to keep equipment in top condition.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting hydraulics, pneumatics and drives, documenting activities in SAP, and upholding HSE, HACCP and GMP standards throughout all tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year technical/vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology or related field

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and scheduled maintenance to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of mechanical equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including motors, drives and production equipment
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, identify root causes and minimize downtime
• Inspect equipment, identify maintenance needs and support overhaul, preventive maintenance and spare-part planning
• Record equipment issues, maintenance activities and work orders in SAP
• Work closely with Production, Maintenance, suppliers and OEMs on repairs and technical issues
• Support improvement initiatives using RCA and contribute to recurring technical issue solutions
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with HSE, food safety, HACCP, GMP, 5S, Food Defense and company safety standards

What will you be doing at MBRF?

What kind of profile are we looking for?

• Minimum 2-year technical/vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology or a related field preferably in the Food/FMCG industry
• Strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical equipment, drives, lubrication, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and repair
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings, with knowledge of relevant mechanical codes and standards
• Knowledge of food manufacturing, food safety and HSE practices, including HACCP, GMP and 5S
• Knowledge of SAP and MS Office, with familiarity with problem-solving tools such as RCA and PDCA
• Based in Jeddah or willing to relocate to Jeddah, with flexibility to commute to the factory location
