Job summary

GE Vernova is hiring an Early Career Sales Specialist Trainee for the Gas Insulated Substations (GIS) sales team in KSA, MEA region. This entry-level program targets high-potential engineers to develop commercial strategy, customer relationships and technical know-how with the goal of managing opportunities.

You will support the regional sales team across transmission and industry segments, assist in tenders, qualification documentation, and build value propositions under senior guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Power Systems, or Communications Engineering.
• Fresh graduates with up to 2 years of experience.
• High proficiency in English; Arabic native language is mandatory.
• Ability to travel within KSA and MEA region.
• Legal right to work in KSA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in early-stage project detection and FEED tracking for potential GIS opportunities.
• Support senior sales in preparing quotations and tender documentation.
• Help build value propositions and compile product qualification/homologation documents.
• Accompany senior team in customer meetings to learn relationship building and contract clarification.
• Conduct basic market assessment and competitor analysis to inform Commercial Action Plans.
• Assist hand-over between Sales and Project Execution teams for seamless transitions.

GE Vernova is hiring Early Career Sales Specialist Trainee accountable for the Gas Insulated Substations (GIS) order intake, margin and cash for KSA within Middle East and Africa (MEA) Region.

This is an entry-level position designed for a high-potential engineering graduate to join our Gas Insulated Substations (GIS) Sales team. As a Sales Specialist Trainee, you will support the regional sales team in driving growth across transmission and industry segments. You will be mentored to develop your commercial strategy, customer relationship skills, and technical expertise, with the goal of eventually managing your own portfolio of opportunities.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Opportunity Support:Assist in early-stage project detection and monitor the FEED (Front End Engineering Design) stage of potential projects.
• Tendering Assistance:Support the senior sales team in preparing quotations, organizing tender documentation, and tracking progress.
• Commercial Documentation:Help build value propositions and assist in the compilation of product qualification/homologation documents and techno-commercial offers under the guidance of the Product Line (PL) tendering team.
• Customer Engagement:Accompany senior team members to customer meetings to learn the art of customer intimacy, relationship building, and contract clarification.
• Market Research:Conduct basic market assessment tasks and competitor analysis to help the team define Commercial Action Plans.
• Internal Collaboration:Assist in the hand-over process between Sales and Project Execution teams to ensure seamless project transition.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Power Systems, or Communication Engineering from an accredited university or college or a related field.
• Fresh graduates with up to 2 years of experience.
• High proficiency in English, Arabic native language is mandatory.
• Ability to travel when necessary within KSA and MEA region.
• The legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction.
