Job summary

Tangent International is urgently seeking a DPI Performance Engineer for a 12-month extendable contract based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will monitor DPI platform health, analyze traffic and KPIs, investigate degradation, and develop dashboards with automated reporting.

A strong background in DPI, TCP/IP and QoS is required, with 4+ years in telecom network or service performance. Experience with capacity forecasting, RCA and proactive alerting will be essential as you work in a telecom

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant telecom network or service-performance experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor DPI platform health, utilization, capacity and KPIs/KQIs.
• Analyse application traffic, classification accuracy, traffic trends and abnormal patterns.
• Investigate performance degradation and complete Root Cause Analysis.
• Develop performance dashboards, reports, thresholds and proactive alerts.
• Forecast capacity requirements and recommend expansion or optimization actions.
• Validate DPI performance after upgrades, migrations and changes.
• Automate performance analysis, reporting and data processing.

• Monitor DPI platform health, utilization, capacity, traffic behaviour and service KPIs/KQIs
• Analyse application traffic, classification accuracy, traffic trends and abnormal patterns
• Investigate performance degradation and complete detailed Root Cause Analysis
• Develop performance dashboards, reports, thresholds and proactive alerts
• Forecast capacity requirements and recommend expansion or optimization actions
• Validate DPI performance following upgrades, migrations and configuration changes
• Automate performance analysis, reporting and data processing
• 4+ years of relevant telecom network or service-performance experience
• Strong understanding of DPI concepts and platform architecture
• Experience with KPI/KQI analysis, traffic monitoring, capacity management and RCA
• Strong IP networking, TCP/IP and application-protocol knowledge
• Understanding of throughput, bandwidth, latency, RTT, packet loss and QoS
• Experience with performance dashboards, reporting and monitoring tools
• Good Linux and network-troubleshooting knowledge
• Experience in a telecom operator, ISP, managed-services or vendor environment
