Job summary

Qiddiya Investment Company in Saudi Arabia seeks a Director – Digital Engineering to provide technical leadership across its core digital product streams. The role ensures reusable, scalable, observable architecture and alignment with the technology strategy and operating model.

You will govern engineering quality, challenge low-level decisions, and manage staff engineers embedded with product streams, vendors, and internal teams to deliver high-impact platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior engineering leadership roles across large-scale digital platforms and high-traffic environments.
• Ability to challenge detailed engineering, integration, and infrastructure decisions.
• Proven track record delivering reusable digital platforms, APIs, and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical oversight of core digital product streams in line with target architecture and engineering standards.
• Define and enforce engineering principles around reusability, scalability, security, and observability across products.
• Review and validate technical decisions with clear ownership and governance over architecture direction.
• Lead staff engineers embedded within product streams and collaborate with vendor teams to ensure alignment with strategy.
• Influence product delivery by reviewing decisions and guarding Qiddiya’s long‑term technology interests.
