Tafaul is looking for an experienced and strategic Public Relations Director to lead its public relations function, strengthen client relationships, enhance brand reputation, and oversee the development and execution of integrated PR and communications strategies.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, extensive experience in public relations, media relations, corporate communications, and crisis management, with the ability to lead teams and deliver impactful communication campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies aligned with company and client objectives.
• 2. Lead and manage public relations campaigns, ensuring effective execution and measurable results.
• 3. Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders.
• 4. Oversee media relations, press releases, media coverage, and corporate announcements.
• 5. Develop crisis communication plans and manage reputational risks.
• 6. Lead the development of corporate communications strategies and messaging.
• 7. Manage client relationships and ensure client satisfaction across PR projects.
• 8. Lead, mentor, and develop the public relations team.
• 9. Monitor media coverage, public sentiment, and campaign performance.
• 10. Coordinate with content, creative, digital marketing, and business development teams.
• 11. Manage departmental budgets, resources, and performance indicators.
• 12. Identify new opportunities to enhance the company’s market presence and reputation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
• At least 8–10 years of relevant professional experience in public relations and communications.
• At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership position.
• Proven experience in media relations and crisis communications.
• Strong experience managing client accounts and strategic communication campaigns.
• Excellent Arabic and English communication skills.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in a PR agency is highly preferred.
• Established relationships with local media outlets are an advantage.
