Job summary

Beond is establishing a Saudi Arabia AOC and seeks a Director of Operations based in Riyadh. You will oversee flight operations, own the ops manual, and ensure compliance with GACA requirements as the airline builds a premium, multi-AOC platform.

The role requires an ATP certificate, 3+ years of supervisory experience, and PIC time in Part 121 operations, along with deep GACAR knowledge. Relocation support is provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate (GACAR 121.49(a)(1)).
• At least 3 years' supervisory/managerial experience within the last 6 years exercising operational control over Part 121-similar operations (GACAR 121.49(a)(2)).
• At least 3 years' experience within the past 6 years as PIC of a Part 121 aircraft — for a first-time Director of Operations (GACAR 121.49(a)(3)).
• Full understanding of the GACAR, the operations specifications, applicable airworthiness requirements and the operations manual; must be acceptable to GACA (GACAR 121.45(e), (g)).
• Airbus A320/A321 experience.
• Existing GACA regulatory relationships and new-AOC experience.
• Fluent English; Arabic advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Exercise operational control and accountability for the conduct of flight operations under the AOC.
• Own the operations manual, ensure ops-specifications compliance and set operational standards.
• Oversee flight dispatch, flight-time limitations and flight-crew standards.
• Serve as the operational interface with GACA for approvals, audits and findings.
• Embed the SMS within operations.
