Job summary

1Recruit International client in Riyadh seeks a Project Development Director to lead a major land development from feasibility to handover. The role reports to the Head of Business Development and requires bilingual Arabic and English skills.

Responsibilities include due diligence, master planning, consultant and contractor prequalification, oversight of design and budget, and regular Board reporting. A competitive expatriate salary package plus benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Construction / Engineering / Architecture or comparable experience considered.
• 15+ years' experience with at least 10 years' experience on residential master planned communities.
• Must be bilingual in Arabic and English.
• Must be commercially astute and be adept at Board presentations.
• Must be able to drive projects for performance results and display proven leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare due diligence for substantial land holding project in Riyadh from feasibility through to master planning.
• Manage the project from concept to documentation, construction and handover in terms of design, budget, program and quality.
• Lead and manage the prequalification and selection of consultants and contractors.
• Review and monitor performance of all consulting groups and head contractors as per scope of works.
• Provide monthly and periodic reporting on projects to the CEO and Board.
• Present plans, findings and recommendations to the Board.
