Job summary

Qiddiya Investment Company in Riyadh seeks a seasoned Director - Design to lead the design philosophy and direction for its landmark development projects, ensuring concepts are innovative, cohesive, and aligned with the company’s vision of excellence.

You will manage a diverse design team, collaborate with stakeholders, oversee from concept to completion, and uphold high standards of quality, sustainability, and regulatory compliance while delivering on ambitious timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 12+ years of professional experience in design leadership roles, preferably within real estate or entertainment sectors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement design strategies that align with Qiddiya's overarching goals and vision.
• Lead and inspire a diverse team of designers and architects, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
• Oversee the design development processes from initial concept through to project completion.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure design solutions are practical, innovative, and reflect community engagement.
• Review and approve design proposals, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Stay abreast of global design trends and best practices, integrating these insights into project initiatives.
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively, ensuring deliverables are met within expected parameters.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders, presenting design concepts and incorporating their feedback into the design process.
