The role requires a track record with Tier 1 main contractors and extensive experience delivering 5-star luxury hotels and high-rise towers from inception to completion.

The successful candidate will oversee planning, execution, and site operations, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage risks, and ensure compliance with Saudi regulations and HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Proven delivery of 5-star hotel and high-rise tower projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is mandatory; Master’s or professional certifications are an advantage.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Director to lead the successful delivery of large-scale, complex building projects. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record with Tier 1 main contractors and extensive experience delivering 5-star luxury hotels and high-rise tower projects from inception through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Oversee project planning, execution, and site operations for large-scale building developments.
• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary construction teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Develop and implement construction strategies, methodologies, and execution plans.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, Saudi regulations, HSE requirements, and quality standards.
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive productivity, cost control, efficiency, and continuous improvement across construction operations.
• Review and present progress reports, forecasts, KPIs, and performance updates to senior management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop project teams while maintaining a high-performance culture.

Requirements

• Minimum 20 years of construction experience, including significant experience with Tier 1 main contractors.
• Mandatory experience in the construction and delivery of 5-star luxury hotel projects.
• Mandatory experience in high-rise tower construction.
• Proven track record delivering multi-billion SAR construction projects and other major building developments.
• Experience managing complex projects from mobilization through completion, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large, multidisciplinary teams.
• Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, project management, contract administration, QA/QC, HSE, scheduling, and cost control.
• Strong understanding of Saudi Arabia construction regulations and international construction standards.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is mandatory.
• Master’s degree and/or relevant professional certifications will be an advantage.
