Job summary

Sener is seeking a Design Manager – Stadiums in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to lead the full design lifecycle for FIFA-standard stadium projects. The role requires a strong background in structural or architectural engineering and extensive experience managing multidisciplinary design teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in structural/civil engineering or architecture.
• 15+ years of overall experience in stadium design.
• Mandatory FIFA-standard stadium project experience and full lifecycle design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design lifecycle across concept to IFC for FIFA-standard stadiums.
• Manage multidisciplinary design teams, resources, deliverables and quality.
• Coordinate structural, architectural, MEP, civil and other design disciplines.
• Lead design reviews, workshops, coordination meetings, constructability reviews and design resolutions.
• Act as main design contact with clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Monitor design progress, risks, interfaces, changes and deliverables.
• Review key design documentation and design changes; ensure design assurance.
• Provide design management leadership throughout the stadium design lifecycle.

At Sener, we are developing complex and high-impact infrastructure projects across the region. We are looking for a Design Manager – Stadiums to join our Riyadh, Saudi Arabia team, leading the complete design lifecycle of FIFA-standard stadium projects.

The role requires a structural or architectural engineering background and proven experience managing the full design cycle of major FIFA-standard stadium developments, from concept through detailed and construction-stage design.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary design activities across concept, preliminary, detailed, and IFC design stages.

• Manage structural and/or architectural design teams, resources, deliverables, programs, technical quality, and design coordination.

• Coordinate structural, architectural, MEP, civil, specialist, and other design disciplines.

• Lead design reviews, technical workshops, coordination meetings, constructability reviews, and design resolution activities.

• Act as a key point of contact with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders on design matters.

• Monitor design progress, risks, interfaces, changes, and deliverables.

• Review and oversee key design documentation, technical submissions, design changes, and design assurance activities.

• Provide design management leadership throughout the complete stadium design lifecycle.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.

• 15+ years of overall experience.

• Mandatory experience as a Structural or Architectural Engineer on FIFA-standard stadium projects.

• Mandatory experience managing the complete design lifecycle of major FIFA-standard stadium projects.

• Strong design management experience across concept, preliminary, detailed, and IFC stages.

• Experience managing multidisciplinary design teams and deliverables.

• Strong understanding of structural and/or architectural design coordination.

• Experience managing design programs, risks, interfaces, changes, and technical quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on major international stadium projects.

• Experience with international engineering or architectural consultancies.

• Experience on large-scale sports or major event venues.

• Experience working in the GCC.

• Experience with BIM-enabled multidisciplinary design coordination.
