Job summary

Massar Business Solutions seeks an experienced Design Manager with a strong Civil Engineering background to lead multidisciplinary design teams on large-scale Water EPC projects. The role requires managing design consultants, schedules, and design scopes while coordinating with clients and construction teams.

A focus on water/wastewater infrastructure (not buildings) is essential. Native Arabic and fluent English are required, with 20+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in civil/ water infrastructure design.
• Design Manager experience on large-scale Water EPC projects.
• Water/wastewater infrastructure experience – NOT Buildings.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams.
• Manage design consultants and project stakeholders.
• Manage design scopes, schedules and Design Responsibility Matrices.
• Design change control and constructability reviews.
• Design Management Plans and technical deliverables.
• Construction tender packages and design coordination.
• Coordinate Engineering, Construction, Consultants and Client teams.
• Support both ongoing and tender projects.

• Experience with Transmission Pipelines, Water/Wastewater Networks, Pumping Stations and/or Treatment Plants
• Native Arabic speaker
• Fluent/Native English
