Job summary

A prominent engineering consultancy is seeking a Project Manager with a minimum of 25 years of experience for a major infrastructure project in Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and coordinating technical and management aspects; managing designs and specifications; and ensuring compliance with project requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in infrastructure projects, particularly culvert transmission systems, and possess strong project management skills. This role is located in Al Buraymi Governorate, Oman.

Qualifications

• Minimum 25 years of experience in project management.
• Knowledge of infrastructure projects, particularly culvert transmission systems.
• Experience with environmental impact assessments and hydrologic analysis.

Duties and Requirements :

• Project Manager for a majorinfrastructure (Culvert Transmission System) project in Saudi Arabia
• Minimum25 years’ experience
• planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects
• managing and reviewing designs, aspects, technical specifications & design reports
• ensuring the compliance with all project requirements
• reviewing land-use and master plan including environmental impact assessment, hydrologic analysis, and geotechnical investigations
• monitoring the progress of assigned projects
• preparing infrastructure design and tender documents
• managing and reviewing shop drawings, materials, specifications, documents of suppliers and subcontractors; reviewing drawings, technical specifications, and design reports
• managing all stages of design phase up to the preparation of contract documents, shop drawings, and technical specifications. In addition, monitoring and assisting with the financial aspects of projects to maintain or improve benefit-cost ratios
• studying and analyzing scope change settlements, variation orders, claims, and cash flow projections
• controlling project costs in relation to budgets
• preparing and supervising the preparation of the proposals to be submitted to prospective clients
• assisting with the negotiations associated with contracts and with the preparation of contract documents
• establishing staff budgets, as well as the man-power/equipment resources necessary for the execution of each project; and managing all stages of culvert transmission systems’ projects.
