Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. in Al Hamra District, Southern Corniche, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Non-Management, Full Time kitchen team member to prepare meals to recipes and quality standards.

You will regulate oven temperatures, portion and garnish foods, maintain logs, and support management in staffing and training while upholding safety and appearance standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• License or certification: None

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and substitutes per recipes and standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and garnish of dishes.
• Maintain food logs and monitor quality and quantity.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching staff.
• Follow safety and security policies; protect company assets.
• Communicate needs during busy periods; inform Chef of excess items.
• Support service staff with menu specials and out-of-stock items.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
