Job summary

Chalhoub Group in Riyadh seeks a Delivery Captain to ensure timely delivery of customer orders, handle returns, and maintain vehicle safety. You will follow routes, load/unload cargo, and keep goods secure.

Responsibilities include daily last-mile deliveries to wholesale and retail outlets, document handling, COD cash collection, and adherence to safety and quality standards. A valid driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driving license.
• Previous delivery experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Basic English is preferred for communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Deliveries to Wholesale Retail Outlets Last mile customer delivery Checking the orders before deliveryCollecting Returns to warehouse as assignedCollection of orders from shops for last mileCollection of cash from ecom COD customer and handover as per procedureCollection of payment using credit card machine for COD ecom CustomersComplete all process in FareyeShop-To-Shop TransfersCollecting the necessary documents from shops during returnReport all incidents occasions of misplaced or lost packages to Logistics Distribution DepartmentComply strictly with route and schedule as assignedPerform daily vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks when necessaryReport all maintenance issuesKeep the assigned vehicles clean inside and outEnsure that the company vehicle assigned is used exclusively for company business onlyReport any accidents at first possible instantStrict adherence to all traffic and road safety regulationsReceive or route all operating instructions via the Logistics Distribution DepartmentTo work within promote and identify improvements in company s Quality Management System as per ISO 9001 standards Immediately report any breach in procedures company policy or security to supervisor management Strictly follow develop and improve standard processes procedures and work instructions Also promote adherence to procedures by your staffReport all incidents of any nature and however caused to their immediate superior completing all necessary documentation promptly and accuratelyAlways research to improve all warehouse operations according to company s objectives Ensure that workplace health safety amp environment requirements as per OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock
