Job summary

Fircroft is seeking an experienced Solution Architect – Data Center Design to support bidding, solution design, and technical proposal development for data center projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves interpreting RFPs, developing high-level technical solutions, coordinating with customers and subcontractors, and collaborating with HQ teams to prepare BOQ.

The candidate should have 5+ years in data center electrical or mechanical design and hold ATD/CDCP certifications, with on-site work

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data center electrical or mechanical design.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure (electrical distribution, HVAC, LV systems).
• Experience in RFP analysis, tendering, technical proposal preparation, high-level design, and BOQ development.
• Proven ability to coordinate with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Excellent technical communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs, bidding documents and requirements; prepare comprehensive technical responses.
• Develop technical proposals and high-level solutions from customer requirements and project specs.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors and suppliers to raise technical queries and resolve design issues.
• Participate in technical meetings to ensure alignment on project requirements and proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with Huawei headquarters design teams on power distribution, HVAC, LV systems and civil engineering to develop solutions and BOQ.
