Kent Data Centres in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design of mission-critical data centres. You will manage concepts through detailed designs, coordinate with electrical, architectural and civil teams, and ensure compliance with Saudi codes and international data centre standards.

The role emphasizes energy efficiency, PUE optimisation and robust redundancy, with extensive experience in cooling systems, fire protection and plumbing for data environments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Eligibility for registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Data centre certification (ATD/CDCP/CDCS) is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the mechanical design of data centre projects from feasibility to IFC.
• Develop design philosophies, basis of design and equipment schedules.
• Design and evaluate HVAC, CRAH/CRAC and water-cooled systems with redundancy.
• Perform cooling-load, hydraulic and ventilation calculations and pipe/duct sizing.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and lead BIM coordination in Revit.
• Prepare specs, data sheets and contractor scopes of work.
