Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a senior data center engineering leader in Riyadh to oversee end-to-end design and delivery of mission-critical facilities. You will drive technical discussions with clients, approve multi-discipline designs, and develop scalable data center solutions across the region.

You will mentor teams, ensure compliance with Uptime, NFPA, ASHRAE and local codes, and lead cross-regional collaboration to maintain design excellence and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in planning, designing, and delivering large-scale data centers.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary teams in complex environments.
• Certifications such as Uptime Tier Certified Professional, PMP, LEED AP, or BICSI RCDD are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for all technical aspects of assigned data center projects.
• Lead and approve concept, schematic, and detailed designs across electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Develop and standardize scalable data center solutions for UAE and KSA.
• Conduct site assessments, capacity planning, and feasibility studies per Uptime Tier requirements.
• Ensure compliance with international standards and local regulations.
• Mentor and coach engineering teams and capture lessons learned.
