Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity governance or compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (like NIST and ISO 27001).
• Proven experience in risk management and the ability to conduct thorough assessments.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CGEIT are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage diverse tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design and enforce cybersecurity governance frameworks and policies in alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with information security.
• Ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance governance practices.
• Monitor governance effectiveness and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Develop training programs to enhance employee awareness of cybersecurity governance issues.
• Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends to adapt governance strategies accordingly.
• Liaise with external partners and stakeholders on governance-related matters.
