Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Administration / Business or equivalent with 12 years of experience in project contract administration, procurement, vendor communication and contract writing.
• At least 10 years in contract relevant activities for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Diploma or equivalent with a certificate in Contract Management and 14 years of experience in project management activities, including 10 years in related contract activities.

Penspen www.penspen.com is looking for a Senior Contracts Engineer. The position will be based in Khafji, Saudi Arabia.

A Senior Contracts Engineer manages engineering and construction contracts for oil and gas projects. They ensure the contractor follows all signed rules. They also handle claims management (disagreements over project costs) and contract administration.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering /Administration/Business or Equivalent closely related field with Twelve (12) years of experience in project contract administration, procurement, vendor communication and contract writing skills. At least Ten (10) years in contract relevant activities for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.

OR

• Diploma or Equivalent with a Certificate from a recognized agency in Contract Management with Fourteen (14) years of experience in project management activities, project contract administration, procurement, communication and contract writing skills including at least Ten (10) years in related contract activities for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Candidates should have excellent knowledge of various contracting types, strategies, claims, causes and preventive actions.
• Previous experience in ARAMCO project is an added advantage.
