Job summary

Penspen Ltd. in Khafji, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Cost Estimation Engineer to lead the project controls team on the PMS project. You will support the PM team on behalf of the client (Khafji Joint Operations) and drive cost estimation for EPC activities in major oil and gas projects.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in cost estimation for engineering, procurement and construction, with proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office tools. This is a on-site role in Khafji, KSA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years’ experience in project cost estimation.
• At least six years in EPC cost estimation for major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Experience in benchmarking schedules and costs and related forecasting issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project controls team across multiple projects.
• Provide project control support to the Project Management team acting on behalf of the client (Khafji Joint Operations).

#Penspen ww.penepen.com is looking for a Cost Estimation Engineer, to work in our PMS project in Khafji in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The role is accountable for the management of the project controls team deployed on various projects. Project control support is given to Project Management team who acts on behalf of the client (Khafji Joint Operations, KJO) and delivers the program of projects.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

• At least ten (10) years’ experience A minimum of Six (6) years of experience in project cost estimation for engineering, procurement and construction for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects. Capable of evaluating and consulting on project cost estimation and forecasting issues and problems.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Working knowledge of various contracting types and strategies related to project execution.
• Prior experience in schedule and cost benchmarking of oil and gas upstream projects.
• Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient. Working knowledge of Primavera P6 package.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in the appropriate field.
