Job summary

A premier international cost consultancy seeks a Director of Cost to lead its KSA Stadiums division from Riyadh. You will own the P&L, drive strategic delivery, and oversee a team of cost professionals on major stadium and indoor arena projects across the Kingdom.

The role covers pre-construction estimating through post-contract final accounts, with client engagement and high standards of technical and commercial excellence.

Qualifications

• Circa 20+ years of post-degree professional experience within a recognized cost consultancy environment.
• Hands-on commercial cost management experience delivering major stadiums and/or indoor sports arenas.
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management; engineering degrees not considered.
• MRICS certification is mandatory at this level.
• Open to candidates with or without Middle East experience if they have high-level technical cost expertise and a Cost Consultancy background.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational and financial accountability for the cost consultancy sports division in KSA, driving team performance and growth.
• Act as the senior technical authority for major stadium and indoor arena projects, overseeing cost planning, procurement, tendering, and commercial management.
• Lead comprehensive pre-construction estimating, cost-benefit analysis, value engineering, and post-contract administration and final accounts.
• Mentor and scale a dedicated cost management team, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.
• Serve as the primary client contact for key stakeholders, developers, and project delivery partners across the region.
