Job summary

BDP International is seeking an Operations Specialist to coordinate and support day-to-day Contract Logistics activities in Saudi Arabia, ensuring orders, warehouse tasks, and inventory movements are executed accurately and on time.

The role covers inbound receiving, inventory management, order fulfilment, dispatch, and delivery coordination while maintaining records, documents, and reports. Experience in logistics systems and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Contract Logistics, Warehousing, Freight Forwarding or related.
• Experience with WMS, TMS or other logistics systems preferred.
• Good Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inbound and outbound Contract Logistics activities based on customer requirements.
• Monitor receiving, put away, picking, packing, staging and dispatch activities to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate customer orders and monitor fulfilment through to delivery.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts, stock reconciliation and investigation of discrepancies.
• Coordinate with transport providers for collections, deliveries and shipment status updates.
• Ensure operational transactions, customer orders and inventory movements are accurately recorded in WMS or other relevant systems.
• Prepare and maintain operational documentation, shipment records and supporting documents.
• Monitor customer requirements, SLA performance and operational exceptions, escalating issues where required.
• Respond to customer operational queries and provide timely updates on orders, inventory and deliveries.
• Prepare operational reports covering order volumes, inventory, deliveries, productivity and service performance.
• Support billing activities by ensuring operational data and supporting documentation are complete and accurate.
• Identify operational issues, support corrective actions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to improve service, productivity and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, health and safety standards and applicable regulations.
