Job type/Contract
Contractual (Single Status). Start on as soon as possible.
Hours/rotation
Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid). 10 hours per day (including 1 hour break).
Salary range
Excellent salary package with benefits. Single Status. Accommodation (Meals) provided by the company. Transportation provided by the company. Round trip ticket on each rotation (Economy class).
Construction HSE Supervisor reports to the Construction HSE Coordinator or, while he is the TCM HSE representative at site, he reports to the Site Manager. He/she verifies and ensures that all field activities are performed according to the TCM HSE policy, the regulations, standards and procedures, promoting all preventive and corrective action as required.
Duties and responsibilities
- Toperform the job hazardous analysis (JHA) and participate to the job safety analysis (JSA).
- Verifythe adequacy and application of the site HSE lan and all related procedures, to the preparing any revisions.
- Toupdate the HSE documentation during all the construction phases when deemed necessary.
- Tocheck that subcontractors perform their activities in accordance with all the HSE applicable procedures, regulation and standards, promoting all necessary action to ensure that the said procedures and regulations are observed.
- Toorganize, plan and participate to periodical HSE walk around, inspections and audits on site, prepare all the relevant reports, action plans, verify the follow up and the timely execution of the corrective action.
- Toorganize, coordinate and directly participate in the HSE training activities on site.
- Toorganize and participate to all relevant site HSE meetings, prepare the relevant MOM.
- To cooperatewith the client concerning the issue of any necessary work permits.
- Toorganize in case of work accidents a full investigation of the event, finalized to the identification of corrective measure to avoid reoccurrence.
- Tokeep accident records, identifying the areas to which prevention must be addressed.
- Toperform and / or promote the indoctrination / training of personnel.
- Leadand coordinate the activities off the site HSE committee (composed by all contractor and subcontractors HSE representative).
- Tolead and coordinate the site emergency response team and fire prevention/ fighting team, organizing training and emergency drill mock activities.
- Toprepare the HSE section of the construction monthly progress report and other periodical report.
- Toprepare and update the site HSE statistics, verify the performance versus the project and corporate HSE objective, targets and performance indicators.
- Proposerecovery plan in case of mismatch.
Person Specification
Knowledge & Qualifications
- University Degree or Diploma in any Engineering or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in HSE in construction, fabrication, installation and / or commissioning projects / operations in the oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
- Relevant experience in 3 major EPC projects; oil & gas, petrochemical sector.
- ARAMCO approval will be added advantage.
