Job summary

Met T&S Ltd. seeks an experienced HSE System Coordinator to ensure the proper operation of the Health, Safety and Environment management system on site.

You will collaborate on developing and improving the corporate HSE framework, maintaining standards compliance, and supporting initiatives to promote a safe work environment. The role requires leadership, deep knowledge of international safety standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001), and the ability to drive continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• University Degree/Diploma in Engineering.
• NEBOSH and IOSH certificates are mandatory.
• Significant experience in the industrial construction of large or XL gas plants exclusively with Saudi Based Clients.
• Covered a similar role in at least 4-5 projects of comparable size.
• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• System Management: Maintain detailed knowledge of the corporate HSE System requirements and propose changes based on lessons learned.
• HSE Plans: Verify the completeness and correctness of HSE Plans prepared for specific projects and propose changes.
• Performance Monitoring: Process and send indicators from the HSE system to the HSE Head of Department and the HSE Data Analyst.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with local laws, international safety standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, SA8000), and client requirements through audits.
• Incident Investigation: Assist in investigating safety incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in relevant standards and update corporate HSE files.
• Audits and Inspections: Participate as Lead Auditor and/or Auditor in system inspection activities and conduct site visits.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with Prevention and Protection to enhance the HSE system.

Job description

Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid)& 2 days traveling (paid).

• The HSE System Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the properand complete operation of the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)Management System within the organization. This role involvescollaborating in the development and improvement of the corporate HSEManagement System, maintaining compliance with relevant standards, andsupporting various HSE initiatives to promote a safe and healthy workenvironment.

Duties and responsibilities

• System Management: Maintain detailedknowledge of the corporate HSE System requirements and propose changesor developments based on lessons learned
• HSE Plans:Verifythe completeness and correctness of the content of HSE Plans preparedfor specific projects and propose any necessary changes, corrections, oradditions
• Performance Monitoring :Process and send project-level and aggregate performanceand operations indicators from the HSE system to the HSE Head ofDepartment and the HSE Data Analyst
• Compliance: Ensure compliancewith local laws, international safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001,ISO 14001, SA8000), and client-specific requirements through periodicaudits
• Incident Investigation: Assist in the investigation of safety incidents to identifyroot causes and recommend corrective actions
• Documentation: Maintainup-to-date knowledge of developments in relevant international standardsand ensure the updating of corporate HSE and individual projectfiles
• Audits and Inspections: Participate as a Lead Auditor and/or Auditor in systeminspection activities and conduct site visits to assess projectcompliance with HSE policies
• Continuous Improvement :Collaborate with the Prevention and Protection Departmentto carry out activities that enhance the HSE system and promotecontinuous improvement.
