Job summary

Dhahran Techno Valley seeks a dynamic Community Engagement and Events Specialist to foster strong ties with tenants and the broader innovation ecosystem. You will plan and execute events, coordinate with residents, businesses and institutions, and develop programs that benefit the district and local community.

The role requires building trust, delivering inclusive programs, and managing budgets and timelines to showcase district achievements and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 8–10 years of experience in community engagement, outreach, stakeholder management and event planning.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational, project management and time management abilities.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive community engagement strategy aligned with the district's goals.
• Organize and facilitate community meetings, workshops, and information sessions.
• Build and maintain relationships with residents, leaders, businesses and organizations.
• Plan, organize and execute events including open houses, workshops, seminars and showcases.
• Develop budgets, timelines and logistics for events and coordinate with partners.
• Promote activities via newsletters, website, social media and community boards.
• Establish partnerships with local institutions to support initiatives.
• Gather feedback and evaluate engagement initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Prepare regular reports on engagement activities and outcomes.
