Job summary

SGS is seeking a QA Inspector in Saudi Arabia to perform Hold, Witness and Surveillance inspections at manufacturing facilities and construction sites, ensuring compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements and project specifications.

You will review contractor quality documentation, witness tests, and write NCRs/EDRs while maintaining safety, confidentiality, and SGS integrity throughout inspections.

Qualifications

• B.S degree in Engineering in a respective inspection discipline with at least three to four years of experience.
• For diploma holders, minimum 5 years of inspection experience is required.
• Experience in SAUDI ARAMCO requirements and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform Hold, Witness and Surveillance inspections and tests to ensure SAUDI ARAMCO compliance.
• Inspect materials and equipment for proper handling, storage and protection at SAUDI ARAMCO sites.
• Monitor Contractor’s Quality Systems and personnel for compliance.
• Write inspection reports and initiate NCRs, WSs and EDRs as needed.
• Report findings in the required format and maintain safe working practices.

Job Description

• Perform “Hold”, “Witness” and “Surveillance” inspections and tests at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements and project specifications.
• Inspect material and equipment as applicable to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements for proper handling, storage and protection at SAUDI ARAMCO facilities and/or construction sites.
• Monitor Contractor’s Quality Systems, records and Quality Personnel for compliance with requirements.
• Review and evaluate the Contractor’s Quality document submittals.
• Witness on-site and off-site material and installations tests for compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO standards.
• Record legibly and accurately all controversial and non-complying construction practices, materials and equipment and report to supervisor detailed potential problems for early resolution.
• Write inspection reports and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Worksheets (WSs) and Equipment Deficiency Report (EDRs) as needed.
• To do work as planned and scheduled with a better professional approach and to report the findings in the required format.
• To work safely during inspection activities and to advise others to work safely.
• To maintain the confidentiality requirements in each activity during the service period.
