Job summary

SGS is seeking an experienced inspector to perform Hold, Witness and Surveillance inspections and tests at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements and project specifications.

The role requires a B.S in Engineering or equivalent with 4+ years of inspection experience (or a 2-year diploma with 8+ years). Certifications such as AWS CWI or CSWIP are required, along with knowledge of API 653 and API 510 standards.

Qualifications

B.S degree in Engineering or equivalent with 4+ years of inspection experience (or 2-year diploma with 8+ years).
AWS CWI or CSWIP certification required.
Demonstrated knowledge of API 653 and API 510 standards.

Responsibilities

Perform Hold, Witness and Surveillance inspections and tests per SAUDI ARAMCO requirements.
Inspect material and equipment to ensure proper handling, storage and protection at SAUDI ARAMCO facilities and sites.
Monitor Contractor’s Quality Systems and records for compliance.
Review and evaluate Contractor’s Quality document submittals.
Witness on-site and off-site material/tests for SAUDI ARAMCO standards.
Write inspection reports and initiate NCRs/WSs/EDRs as needed.
Report findings in the required format and maintain confidentiality.
