Job summary

KEO Group in Madinah, KSA, seeks a Civil Inspector to join our award-winning team. You will attend inspection requests, review shop drawings, monitor quality and safety, and report on non-conformances.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of engineering experience, a Diploma or Bachelor in Engineering, and high-rise project exposure. Hospitality and high-rise experience are advantageous. We offer a collaborative environment and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in an Engineering discipline is required.
• High rise experience would be favorable.
• Hospitality and Highrise experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Attend inspection requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and take timely action.
• Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings, specs, local codes and international best practice.
• Report works not in accordance with drawings/specifications to stakeholders for action.
• Monitor quality of works and site safety, ensure compliance with QCS specs and health risk assessments.
• Maintain records for daily site activities and progress photos for inspection.
• Prepare surveillance reports for deficiencies and NCRs when required.
• Check and ensure coordination between disciplines and other works.
• Provide technical input to resolve discipline-related site issues.

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Civil Inspector to join our award winning team in Madinah, KSA

We envisage success in this role to include;

• Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
• Reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
• Reporting any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to stakeholders for appropriate action.
• Monitoring quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual / QCS specifications and safety and health risk assessments.
• Maintaining records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
• Preparing surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site and non conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
• Checking and ensure effective co-ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines.
• Providing technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise.

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 8 years' career experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in an Engineering discipline. High rise experience would be favorable.
