Job summary

Petroraq Engineering Co. Ltd. seeks an experienced Project CostControl Engineer (Civil) to monitor, analyze, and control project costs across civil, infrastructure, and construction projects.

You will manage budgets, forecast costs, measure progress, and report finances to keep projects within approved budgets while meeting quality and schedule goals. Key responsibilities include maintaining CBS, tracking expenditures, preparing EAC reports, and coordinating with Planning, Procurement, and Site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• 3-5 years of relevant cost control experience in civil, infrastructure or EPC projects.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, EVM, and cost variance analysis knowledge.
• Experience monitoring civil construction costs and subcontractor payments.
• Proficiency in Excel, Primavera P6 and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project cost control systems, budgets, and CBS.
• Monitor expenditures against budgets and identify cost variances.
• Prepare detailed cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and EAC reports.
• Track commitments, POs, subcontractor costs, and material expenditures.
• Coordinate with Planning, Procurement, Engineering, and Site teams on cost performance.
• Review subcontractor payments, progress claims, and variation orders.
• Analyze productivity to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, EV analysis, and dashboards.
• Monitor change orders, claims, and additional works for financial impact.
• Support recovery plans for cost overruns and close-out activities.
