Job summary

Petroraq Engineering Co. Ltd. seeks an experienced Project Engineer – Mechanical Projects to manage mechanical EPC/construction efforts from engineering through handover. The role covers piping, HVAC, equipment installation, firefighting, and related mechanical works with emphasis on execution and commercial management.

The successful candidate will lead cross‑functional teams, review drawings and vendor documents, and drive safety, schedule, and budget adherence across projects in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years mechanical EPC/construction experience.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of projects from kick-off to final handover.
• Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan, construction strategy, resource plan, and execution priorities.
• Lead Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Planning, QA/QC, HSE, Commercial, and subcontractor teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to contractual requirements.
• Identify project risks, delays, and bottlenecks and implement corrective/recovery actions.
• Coordinate interfaces with Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams.
• Manage procurement of mechanical materials, equipment, and long-lead items.
• Monitor vendor approvals, manufacturing, inspections, FAT where applicable, delivery, and site availability.
