Job summary

The Civil Engineer will lead field execution for the company’s real estate projects in Saudi Arabia, ensuring construction aligns with approved designs, schedules, budgets, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with professional registration where applicable.
• 5–10 years of direct supervision and execution in real estate or civil projects, including 5 years in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code, local regulations, and standard practices (ACI, ASTM, AISC).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project and Microsoft Office; solid health and safety knowledge.
• Ability to coordinate multi-discipline teams and manage site interfaces.

Job description

The Civil Engineer will lead and supervise field execution across the company’s real estate projects, ensuring that construction work complies with approved designs, specifications, schedules, budgets, and applicable regulations.

The role oversees civil works from site handover and surveys through construction and final handover. It also coordinates contractors and suppliers, verifies quantities and payment applications, enforces quality and HSE requirements, manages technical issues and project risks, and prepares progress reports to support management decisions.

Major Responsibilities

• - Lead civil engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, including site setup, earthworks, foundations, reinforced concrete structures, finishes, and final handover.
• - Supervise site teams and contractors, maintain a consistent field presence, and coordinate work sequencing to support safe and productive operations.
• - Conduct site handovers and engineering surveys, and verify site and soil readiness before construction begins.
• - Review technical submittals, shop drawings, material approvals, and method statements, and track required site approvals.
• - Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works, resolving technical interfaces and conflicts.
• - Develop and implement inspection and test plans for materials and concrete in accordance with the Saudi Building Code and applicable engineering standards.
• - Conduct quality inspections, issue inspection requests, and approve completed construction milestones.
• - Identify construction deviations, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• - Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements across active sites and field operations.
• - Measure quantities against approved Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to control costs and reduce material waste.
• - Review and certify contractors’ interim payment applications based on verified progress on site.
• - Assess technical change orders and monitor site variations against project baselines.
• - Prepare progress reports covering site status, schedule, budget, risks, and issues for management review.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

- Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).

- 5–10 years of experience in the direct supervision and execution of real estate development or civil engineering projects, including at least 5 years of field experience in Saudi Arabia.

- Strong knowledge of the Saudi Building Code, municipality and relevant authority regulations, and applicable standards such as ACI, ASTM, and AISC.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.

- Comprehensive knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.
