Job summary

Confidencial is seeking a Head of Legal in Saudi Arabia to lead the Legal function, provide senior counsel to the CEO and executives, and oversee governance, regulatory matters, and strategic transactions. The role requires deep experience in ports, logistics, or related regulated sectors and strong leadership with Arabic and English fluency.

Responsibilities include managing external counsel, guiding risk management, and ensuring alignment with regional and group legal frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
• Valid Saudi legal professional qualification or license to practice, where applicable.
• Strong governance, compliance, investigations, or fraud examination credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Legal function and set strategic priorities, governance standards, and framework.
• Advise the CEO and senior leadership on complex, high-impact legal matters.
• Oversee corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and external counsel management.
• Manage significant disputes, regulatory proceedings, and investigations for KSA.
• Coordinate with GCC Region and Group Legal, regulators, and authorities.
