This full-time role requires 3+ years on large aircraft, 1 year in supervisory inspection, and a solid grasp of GACAR. Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is a plus.
Beond is the world s first premium leisure airline flying an all-lie-flat Airbus fleet and is standing up new Air Operator Certificates in Bahrain BCAA and Saudi Arabia GACA. The Chief Inspector is appointed by and reports to the Accountable Executive independent of the Director of Maintenance and is responsible for administering the required inspection programme and maintaining the Required Inspection Items (RII) list, setting inspection standards and overseeing the inspector cadre and maintenance quality assurance, ensuring inspection independence and integrity of airworthiness determinations, auditing maintenance activities and records and driving corrective action, and interfacing with GACA on inspection and quality matters. This is a required management position under GACAR Part 121 45. The post is full-time and the successful candidate must be acceptable to GACA and the President based on experience, competence and knowledge, with a full understanding of the GACAR, the operations specifications, applicable airworthiness requirements and the operations manual, including GACAR 121 45e, g. Must hold a mechanic certificate with both airframe and powerplant (A&P) ratings, held for at least 3 years (GACAR 121.49(d)(1)).
